A Love Affair with MV Doulos

As we all know, the MV Doulos was built in the year nineteen fourteen. It is only two years younger than the boat Titanic. The MV Doulos is presently the largest floating book fair in the world. It is carrying more than six thousand book titles across the oceans to reach the different parts of the globe. As we all know, three hundred fifty volunteers from fifty countries in this world live and work together on board. The boat MV Doulos seeks to bring knowledge, help and hope to the nations. Since nineteen seventy seven, the boat MV Doulos has visited more than one hundred countries. The boat welcomes over nineteen million visitors on board.
The boat MV Doulos is carrying a stock of half a million books for sale. The visit of the boat MV Doulos was in Cebu, at the Pier one, Gate Entrance from January twenty six to February nineteen. During the visit of the first year and the second year students from the University of the Philippines High School in Cebu at the boat MV Doulos, I was so glad and I enjoyed a lot. There were different kinds of books covering some subjects such as Science, Education, Sports, Cookery, History, Technology, Photography, Christian Living and a wide range of Literature books for children. There were also reference books such as Dictionary, Atlas and Encyclopedia. I enjoyed reading the books from the literature of children. I was amazed because of all the books, I want to read fairy tale books and I found it there. I enjoyed very much as I read every book. In fact, I leave my partner just because I want to read those books. I became interested and amazed in reading those books but unfortunately, we were called by our teachers. I thought at first that we are going to go home already but luckily, we went to the Conference Room and we were gathered there and I was hoping that we would go back to the Book Fair. The emcee of the program was Felipe. He was a citizen from Brazil. Of course, we were not alone because we are together with the students from the Asian Learning Center. I thought that there were four schools including our Alma Mater, because their shirts have different colors but I was wrong because they are only from the same school. Felipe introduced to us the different volunteers form the different countries. The first one who introduced herself was from Germany, followed by the volunteer from China, then from Africa and lastly the volunteer from Japan. We was amazed because there were games. After the program, we went back at the Book Fair. I was so happy because I had the chance to read my favorite books, the fairy tale books. We did not stay long at the Book Fair because our teachers ordered us to go down the ship to go home. I felt sad at that time but somehow, I felt happy because I have an experience, a very memorable, enjoyable and interesting experience at the boat MV Doulos.
