My Family

A family is a group of individuals living under one roof and one head. It is a social unit usually consisting of the father, mother, brothers and sisters. The father is a male parent. He is the head of the family and his role is to find job in order to feed his children. The mother is a female parent. She is the light of the house and her role is to take care of the children but in other families, the mother is the one who finds job while the father is the one taking care of the children. The role of the children is to bring happiness and laughter in the house. Whenever the mother or the father is tired, they make their parents laugh and cast away all their exhaustion.
My family is consist of my grandmother, father, mother, two aunts, elder sister, myself and my baby sister. We live in a house that is not too big and not too small, it is just right for all of us. My grandmother is already sixty five years old this coming February nineteen. But in spite of her old age, she has still a job. She is a fish vendor. My father has no job. He is only in the house. He takes care of my baby sister. He is the one who manages our small eatery. My mother also sells fish. She is also a fish vendor like my grandmother. Sometimes, if she has no fish to sell, she helps my father in managing our small eatery. My elder sister is already fifteen years old this November fourteen. She is already in the second year of her high school life. She is presently studying at Camp Lapulapu National High School. I am already twelve years old. I turned twelve last January twenty two. I am at my first year of high school life. I am presently studying at the University of the Philippines. My baby sister is already four years old last January twenty. She is only at the house because she is not yet studying. I have two aunts. My first aunt is a lesbian but even if she is like that, she has still characteristics that show that she is still a girl. My second aunt is paralyzed since she was still in grade three. Now, she is studying for the course Cosmetology at AVRC located at Katipunan, Labangon. She has gone there last year during the month of April. She would be back this coming April because she has to stay there for one year.
My family is composed of eight members. Even if we are a big family, but we live peacefully. But like other families, we also have some misunderstandings but it only lasts for just an hour and things will be alright again. Sometimes my mother and my father quarrel because of financial problems. If I or my sister asks for something, my mother would not easily give us the things that we need, she still confirm our father and he would be the one who will give us what we need.
